Managing our money can be incredibly overwhelming. Join us for a discussion group where we will be going over basic budgeting; knowing where your money goes, avoiding fees and finding the right resources to help meet your monthly needs. Need some help completing forms? Income tax? Jumpstart? Forms for your children’s doctor or school? Book a half hour appointment and we can help get it done! Appointment required.
New Moms Club
Are you a new mom looking for answers and facing new struggles? Would you like to share what works for you with other moms? We want you to thrive not just survive. New moms with infants-6 months.
Walk and Talk
Want to burn those unwanted calories? Clear your mind and reduce the risk of developing breast cancer? Come walk and talk with us! Registration is required.
Incredible Years is a program for parents and caregivers of school aged children up to 12 years old with a focus on promoting positive behaviours, reducing behaviour problems, and improving your child’s social and emotional skills. Childcare and light snacks provided. Registration required.
Support Group For Moms
Share your challenges & successes with other moms of children with special needs.
Lunch and Learn
Come join us for a lunch and learn session, every month a new activity/lesson. A great way to learn something new and socialize. Lunch will be provided.
Handle With Care
Handle with Care is a simple interactive program to help parents and caregivers promote the mental health of young children from birth to 6 years. Let’s explore this strength base approach to our children’s well-being.
Drop-In Social Work Support
In partnership with the North End Community Clinic we will have drop-in social work sessions every 3rd Thursday of the month. They will be able to help with Income Assistance, Prescription coverage, CPP forms, Housing referrals/applications and Immigration forms.
Child Safety Link
Child Safety Link is a great resource for parents to help keep children safe at home, on the road and at play.
